THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Erzulie Restaurant Review:

Louisiana lovers rejoice. The latest in Creole cooking is garnering a fierce lunch crowd on the popular Belden Lane near the Financial District. The dining room has a clean, comfortable feel with exposed brick walls lined with photos of San Francisco and nicely-spaced tables covered with white linen. On sunny days, the outdoor tables are packed with revelers ordering up succulent po'boy sandwiches and two styles of gumbo---one with seafood, the other with andouille sausage and smoked duck. Other dishes worth a visit include moist crawfish cakes topped with a spicy mustard sauce and the smoky but sweet jerked chicken sandwich. The more relaxed evening crowd can start the night off with a house-made hot pepper-infused tequila or the vanilla vodka, which is mixed with root beer into an adult version of a float. Try the blackened snapper with pecan rice. Of course, beignets are the perfect end.
