You’ll find a wide array of brewed coffee and espresso drinks, both hot and cold, traditional and modern, at this Illy outpost in the desert. Luca Trazzi, the architect behind the cutting edge cool Francis Francis coffee products line, designed the stylish store. It's an appealing space, from the white marble floor and dark wood paneling to the gleaming chrome display cases and a central tower showcasing espresso cups from Illy's "artist" series. And there’s more than just caffeine: stop in for an extensive selection of panini (three cheese, caprese, etc.) and wraps (turkey and chicken) as well as dessert crêpes, sundaes and more than 50 flavors of gelato. Breakfast items include bagel and croissant sandwiches with eggs, ham and other options. Kids will like the chocolate-dipped strawberries from the chocolate fountain. Sit back and watch the shoppers or take your order to go. You can also purchase coffee beans, coffee cups and even espresso machines for the home.
