THIS RESTAURANT HAS CHANGED LOCATIONS Fish & Farm Restaurant Review:

This approachable-yet-hip restaurant with a tiny kitchen is located just outside of Union Square. The space features walls washed in aqua, comfortable booths and banquettes, marble tabletops and distressed wood chairs. Produce is exclusively organic, as are many of the wines. Meat and seafood are raised humanely and sustainably, and all ingredients are culled from within 100 miles of the restaurant. Local products are used beautifully in dishes such as creamy roasted cauliflower soup cleverly seasoned with pickled grapes. Hand-rolled gnocchi is punctuated by salty ham hocks and melted Parmesan. Unfortunately, meat dishes such as the rib-eye with homemade steak sauce fall short, with overly fatty cuts and steak sauce that tastes generic, and the pork chop fails to showcase the nuances and layers of flavor promised by the server. The cheesecake in a jar and a peanut butter mousse with salted caramel speak to one’s inner child.
