I Gatti Restaurant Review

: I Gatti is a delight for foodies, with attention to detail and knowledgeable service. Dishes represent many regions of the Mediterranean, with primarily Italian influences, but also hints of Spain and France. Everything is created with the light touch that typifies today’s California style. The menu features local produce and shellfish, with down-pillow-soft gnocchi, well prepared salmon and flavorful risotto dishes. The beet salad is a standard of measure, and the plate of calamari fritti is a must. Good selection of Italian wines. Desserts are as well executed as everything else on the menu: go for the house-special "caramel basket," the rich tiramisu or the ganache-laden chocolate lava cake.
