THIS ESTABLISHMENT IS CLOSED With an atmosphere firmly entrenched in 1920s European charm, this former tearoom is accented by ornate flower arrangements and hand-painted silk. The small room seems grander than it is thanks to a domed ceiling where an elegant crystal chandelier glitters. The Continental-meets-Northwest menu grounded in classic European cooking features appetizers as wide ranging as bündnerfleisch, thinly sliced, cured and air-dried beef, and Dungeness crab cakes with whole grain mustard sauce, while main courses such as pan-fried calf's liver with potato pancakes and jaeger schnitzel delight global palates. For dessert, you can't go wrong with the warm apple strudel drizzled with caramel sauce and served with vanilla ice cream.
