THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Greek Isles Restaurant Review:
With its sunny windows, stark white walls, slate floor, cozy tables draped with crisp, white cloths, soft Greek music and servers all chit-chatting in Greek, this place could be mistaken for a beachside taverna in Mykonos. The menu, including the long list of Greek wines, is authentic, too. For starters, try the taramosalata---it looks like Pepto-Bismol-colored Cool-Whip and tastes like caviar---on warm pita bread. Other good bets include the stuffed grape leaves , the fork-tender braised lamb shank and the moussaka. Meals come with a hearty Greek salad topped with lots of fresh feta cheese, and warm and crusty French bread. Split a piece of honey-drizzled baklava and wash it down with cups of thick, gritty Greek coffee. Youll be buzzing for the rest of the evening.
