The Greek Taverna Restaurant Review:
Soulful Greek folk music tinkles in the background, but it's the lusty Greek cooking that stamps this tiny restaurant with a Mediterranean spirit. You'll find both hot and cold appetizers---the skordalia (cold whipped potatoes) are for real potato lovers. For the main meal, there are plenty of traditional Greek dishes and grilled entrées, including moussaka, pastitsio, lamb kebabs and baby lamb chops. The arni stammas is a heavenly lamb lover's stew. For dessert, the orange crème caramel is velvety and intensely flavored. It can be crowded on weekends, so make reservations or plan to eat here early.
