Halls Chophouse Restaurant Review:
In Charleston’s Upper King District, Halls Chophouse takes Allen Brothers of Chicago USDA Prime beef and turns it into steak cuts ranging from a 24-ounce bone-in rib-eye to a 16-ounce New York strip, and an eight-ounce petite filet mignon. Sides include asparagus with hollandaise and wild mushroom risotto. Rounding out the mains are the likes of a Berkshire broiled pork chop, blackened cedar plank wild salmon and grilled vegetable ravioli. Guests can launch a meal with oysters on the half shell, lowcountry fried green tomatoes or a Caesar salad. Cocktails (Hot Pepper Martini, Barrel-Aged Manhattan) and wine are available.
