If you have a modest appetite, brace yourself when walking into Harold's New York Deli. This is the home of humongous cheesecakes and chocolate cakes (one foot high and 40 pounds heavy), 19-ounce pastrami sandwiches, matzo balls the size of oranges and two-pound super-size éclairs. Meat is stacked high on bread that's delivered hot four times a day. Décor is pure New York: classic Gotham pictures on the wall and diners are seated in Midtown, Uptown, Downtown or SoHo.
