Honor BBQ Restaurant Review:
About the restaurant: Honor BBQ is located in Mountain's Edge in Southwest Las Vegas. The décor features red brick walls; state flags of Texas, Tennessee and Nevada; license plates from several states; and a large patio with cornhole and giant Jenga. Military personnel and first responders in uniform receive a 50% dine in food discount and those out of uniform with proper identification get 20% off.
Food & Drinks: Shareable starters include fried pickle chips, cauliflower bites and crispy deviled eggs. Meats are mesquite and hickory smoked "low and slow" for up to 11 hours. Available by the half-pound or served as a sandwich, entrees include sliced or chopped brisket, pulled pork, 3.5 lb beer can chicken, jalapeño cheddar sausage links, pork spareribs, sliced turkey and wings. Desserts include banana pudding, carrot cake and triple chocolate cake. Accompanying the fare are local beers from Big Dog's, CraftHaus and HUDL; an upscale whiskey selection of about 20 whiskies; and several specialty cocktails.
