The Horsemen Lodge Restaurant Restaurant Review

: Bob Lupo opened The Horsemen Lodge Restaurant in 1975, and he has made this joint an exuberant tribute to the working cowboy. Displays of chaps and hats, paintings by top Western artists and a wide variety of taxidermy make the American West come to life. The menu features juicy steaks and barbecued chicken and ribs, plus down-home favorites like chicken-fried steak and garlic mashed potatoes. Boneless trout is served breaded and topped with roasted pine nuts; stuffed and accented with Romano cheese; even sautéed with tomatoes, mushrooms and basil in a white wine sauce. Salmon, scallops and shrimp are available, too. The Lodge has a kids' menu for your little cowboys and cowgirls, with entrées like mac ‘n’ cheese, chicken tenders, fried shrimp and ribs.
