THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Jack's Deli Restaurant Review:

Even though Jack is no longer with us, his popular deli lives on. This always-crowded spot is not what anyone would call fancy, but you're here to eat, right? Jack's features super-fast service and a menu that covers all the bases. Alvie's Bonanza Platter features whitefish, sable, Nova lox, cream cheese and bagels enough for two. We're fans of its huge sandwiches, and such specials as stuffed cabbage, chicken paprikash, sirloin steak and rainbow trout. All come with the house nosh (a bowl of pickle spears, green tomatoes, spicy red peppers), pasta or potato, and a small salad. If you have room for dessert, pop into Pincus Bakery next door and try the only-in-Cleveland coconut bar---stale cake rolled in chocolate sauce and then rolled in coconut.
