THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Jordan's Steakhouse Restaurant Review:

Posh steakhouses are usually an urban phenomenon---think city sophisticates flirting, or cutting deals, over martinis and a juicy porterhouse. Jordan’s, however, is located in the quaint environs of Ellicott City’s Main Street. The town’s vintage stone buildings and meandering Tiber Creek will put diners in a romantic frame of mind even before they sit down. More romance awaits inside, as sumptuous seating, crystal-dripping chandeliers and live jazz set a mood of elegant decadence. (Casual attire is fine, but you’ll want to dress up anyway.) Steaks, fired in an infrared broiler, are the centerpiece, tender inside their charred, salty, garlicky crusts and served with skinny fries. The open kitchen also turns out such luxe fare as pepper-crusted tuna filet, rack of New Zealand lamb and rosemary-roasted free-range chicken breast. And after a suitably swanky dessert (coconut gelato, say, with strawberries and Grand Marnier), sated diners can window-shop the galleries, antique stores and boutiques of this historic former railroad town.
