Kerala Kitchen Restaurant Review:
Kerala Kitchen’s atmosphere is limited to a warm greeting and helpful service; otherwise, ambience is nonexistent. But that’s fine, as it allows guests to focus on the food. Sambar is quite flavorful and full of vegetables; Kerala-style fish curry presents simmered chunks of kingfish in a brightly colored curry sauce; stir-fried okra with tomatoes is a tasty vegetarian option. Beef curry struck us as a bit dry. Meat is halal. Have the kheer for dessert --- medium-bodied, slightly custard-like and just sweet enough. Go for a Madras coffee or a mango lassi, too, or both. No alcohol.
