Bragging fish is its middle name, this causal but lively hangout lives up to the billing. The whiz in the kitchen offers an array of inventive dishes while still sending out platter after platter of the fried fare Texans demand. Most impressive are broiled seafood entrées like pistachio-crusted Atlantic salmon topped with a Chardonnay-lime sauce; Caribbean jerk catfish; and crab-crusted mahi mahi in a passion fruit cream sauce. Grilled fare includes barbecued sea scallops, yellowfin tuna and soy-habanero chicken. King Fish Market also sports a respectable wine list, with plenty of reasonably priced choices.
