THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Kinkead's Restaurant Review:
Chef Robert Kinkead's eclectic seafood menu centers on pristinely fresh fish and shellfish prepared in a variety of ways, from simply grilled to elaborately prepared Thai or Scandinavian stews. Kinkead's spectacular shellfish platter may seem like an expensive treat with its big price tag, but it serves six easily. Standards include crusty fried clams, grilled squid with creamy polenta, crab cakes and pepita-crusted salmon with a corn-chile ragoût. The menu changes daily to feature the very best of the catch-of-the-day. In the mood for casual? Sit at the downstairs bar or at the raw bar. The upstairs dining room, with its open kitchen, has the charm of yesterday's brasseries.
