The interior of this neighborhood gastropub has been revamped and the menu features everything from braised veal ribs with bacon and cabbage to grilled seaweed and fennel-crusted chicken with farm onions. There is a nice selection of craft brews on tap from breweries like Ommegang, Pretty Things and Maine Beer Co. Get started with the rabbit terrine to share or the daily sashimi. If you are still in the sharing mood after the appetizers, continue with the platter of grilled house-made kielbasa complemented by a side of house mustards. You can't go wrong with the braised local monkfish, slow-roasted pork belly or fire-roasted half-chicken. Desserts take a creative spin on classic staples like chocolate chip bread pudding made with figs, sweet potato cake topped with maple sugar ice cream, and an oatmeal walnut ice cream sandwich with chocolate Guinness ice cream.
