This romantic spot on restaurant row is charming in an ’80s glam sort of way, with Erté Art-Deco lithos decorating the walls and stiff, long-stemmed roses adorning the tables. It’s pricey, but that’s exactly what much of the clientele probably expects. Most of the food here is staid, although the menu reads eloquently. We’ve long savored the eggplant crêpe stuffed with shrimp, lobster and crab meat. The osso buco, oh-so tender, is served with a marrow spoon for the defining, melt-in-your mouth finale to an almost flawless gastronomic moment.
