Legal Crossing Restaurant Review:

Legal Sea Foods has added another restaurant to its roster, this one in Downtown Crossing. Located across the street from the Boston Opera House, the concept is similar to all Legal's: fresh seafood in its every form, including tempura mussels, cast iron-seared calamari and lobster soup to start. Main dishes include citrus grey sole, rainbow trout almandine and everything tuna. The vibe is less buttoned down than some of the Legal's though, with chatty bartenders behind the sleek bar. Drinks are named with an eye to the area, with references to both Chinatown and the now-long-gone strip clubs. It's certainly a good addition for theatre-goers looking for another place to dine, drink and dash to a show.
