There are plenty of typical, Americanized renditions of fried rice, chow mein, and sticky sweet-and-sour concoctions offered here, but Legin is best enjoyed for the lunchtime dim sum. Located in a sprawling strip mall and with an enormous dining room, it's a great place for groups. The dim sum menu offers dozens of dumplings and other bite-size treats, which fly by on steaming carts; many are prepared with fish and seafood from the restaurant’s tanks. If you do come for dinner, be daring and try one of the more unusual dishes from the lengthy menu: frogs' legs in black bean sauce, jellyfish or sea cucumber. Vegetarians will be happy to browse and select from a full page of meatless dishes. During the evening, the Phoenix Lounge offers karaoke and lottery games.
