Mama's Boy Restaurant Review:

Alicia Segars and Cooper Hudson launched their popular spot years ago, serving breakfast, lunch and dinner. But breakfast emerged as the favorite meal, so now it’s a focus. The simple setting fills to overflowing, so try to get in early to avoid a wait. First, get a good cup of steaming coffee from local roaster Jittery Joe's. Then peruse a menu offering good grits with fluffy-style biscuits and a very good sausage cream gravy. Peach-filled french toast with candied pecans is the house signature dish, and the Benedict sports two poached eggs atop a pair of salmon cakes, finished with chive hollandaise sauce. If you're famished, consider the Mill Town Breakfast, with bacon, eggs, cheese grits and biscuits. All day lunch brings sundry sandwiches, among them pimento cheese and pulled pork, in addition to breakfast fare. No alcohol.
