THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Manhattan Sammy's Deli Restaurant Review:

A very good deli by local standards---even though we wonder whether any deli outside of Manhattan can so boldly usurp the name. This subterranean place surrounded by high tech offices jumps at lunch when it’s packed with office workers and software engineers. If you arrive later you can practically have the place to yourself. In a deli-starved town, this is the place to go for Rueben sandwiches, corned beef and pastrami. The below-the-sidewalk room has little style, but the techies don’t seem to mind the Spartan digs because they arrive en masse daily from 11:30 a.m. grooving on the sandwiches, not the scene.
