Ann's Italian Restaurant Restaurant Review:
Ann’s is housed inside an adorable bungalow (converted into three dining rooms); it’s known for its thin-crust pizza, though the seafood ravioli (lobster or shrimp and scallop) comes in a close second. That said, this restaurant’s menu is packed with Italian favorites. Start the meal, especially if you're with a large group, by sharing an antipasto plate of Italian dried meats, aged provolone, olives and sweet-spicy red peppers. Or, go for the large martini glass stuffed with three jumbo fried shrimp and house-made cocktail sauce. Seven varieties of house-made ravioli are offered daily (and there’s one daily special); look for fillings like portobello mushroom with a choice of three sauces or beef braised in Chianti wine reduction. Follow tradition and finish with spumoni, tiramisu or cannoli. Plan ahead for an evening here; on weekends, reservations are a must.
