The Belmont Restaurant Review:
An authentic 1880s saloon, this unique restaurant with a waterfront view serves American seafood classics. Although Port Townsend isn’t known as a culinary destination, The Belmont is one of the better lunch and dinner choices in the area. Enjoy hearty crab chowder, tender Dungeness crab cakes, or cioppino in a zesty tomato-saffron sauce. Main dishes also include a selection of well-prepared pastas, duck with Bing cherries, and steak. Lunch offerings feature several hot and cold sandwiches, gourmet salads, and lighter entrées with poultry and fish. The wine list focuses on American selections and takes in some sleeper hits.
