Estia Greek Taverna is the more casual cousin of the longtime Greek fish and seafood restaurant just off Philadelphia's Avenue of the Arts. The South Jersey edition will seem familiar to fans of the original Estia. This spot features a bright, airy dining room with similar touches of Jerusalem stone and reclaimed wood, all topped by a barrel-vaulted ceiling. The menu also mines comparable ground as its Center City counterpart, emphasizing grilled whole fish, brought in from the Mediterranean, and other seafood. Don't miss the Grand Plateau, a tower of shrimp, oysters, lobster, mussels and crab cocktail that is big enough for four to share. You'll also want to sample the range of appetizers, notably the grilled octopus and selections of spreads, and Greek specialties like moussaka, spinach pie and lamb meatballs stuffed with feta. For dessert, sweet and crunchy baklava or a walnut cake with cinnamon and lemon syrup, paired with vanilla gelato, make for a satisfying ending.
