Tiffin, The Indian Kitchen Restaurant Review:
If you're a fan of Indian cooking and mourn the closing of nearby sister restaurant Udupi Palace, don't fret: management has joined the two concepts resulting in one menu, and prices are still affordable. The all-you-can-eat buffet engages the imagination: three curries; five side dishes, including rice, dal and vegetables; two desserts; and assorted chutneys. But the Indian food connoisseur will turn to the menu, which promises a variety not often found in local eateries. We recommend the Bengali fish curry, redolent with mustard seeds, while the Goan lamb vindaloo, with its hot-dusky flavor, breathes its own kind of fire. Breads are oven-fresh and plump---the onion kulcha is a knockout.
