Warren's Lobster House Restaurant Review:
When tourists come to the coast, locals might steer them toward Warren's to sneakily keep them away from their favorite secret lobster shacks, but it's also a good choice. The restaurant has grown in the past from a six-stool stand in the days of 25-cent per pound lobster to a 350-seat leviathan. In winter, it's cozy and in the warmer months you can sit out on the large deck overlooking the Piscataqua River and Portsmouth. You'll know Warren's by its swooping neon arrow pointing the way to river-view dining. The restaurant has an immense menu that includes its specialty, lobster Thermidor. You’d better like seafood, fried or baked, but other dishes include pasta and meat options. The wine list is very basic, but some local beers may be found. There's a fun gift shop, and you can order lobsters live or steamed to be shipped, too.
