In the charming Via Veneto area near Villa Borghese, and on the 7th floor of the Hotel Splendide Royal Roma, is the luxurious Mirabelle restaurant with its sweeping views of Rome through huge glass terrace doors. While the tasting and à la carte menus present distinctive dinner options, such as the veal medallion with zucchini, smoked ricotta, mint, peppers and crispy asparagus, guests might find the “Precious Stones” menu a more creative option for a full-course dining experience. It offers meals inspired by the diamond, the sapphire, the ruby, the emerald and more, each including three or four courses and desserts like the cherries clafoutis with pistachio ice cream or the almonds crumble with caramelized peach and watermelon sorbet. The Mirabelle touts an extensive list of Italian and international wines.
