THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Mojo Restaurant Review:

This is one of the relatively new crop of upscale restaurants that have taken root in Tremont, a redeveloping Cleveland neighborhood. Like the other area dining spots, this one is set in a renovated funky-chic former storefront with an open kitchen. Mojo's claim to fame, besides its wonderfully prepared and original cuisine, is that there are no real entrées-everything is served sort of dim sum-style (except that the dishes are larger and more substantial than standard dim sum treats). Here, each dish is a masterpiece, combining Asian, Latin-American, Mediterranean and American influences. A couple of standouts: tuna, salmon, scallop and papaya ceviche; pulled pork quesadilla with grilled squash, gouda cheese, jicima salad and tomatillo sauce; seared and roasted Asian duck breast medallions (marinated in citrus, soy, ginger, garlic, hoisin sauce, honey, peppercorns and raspberry sauce) accompanied by a salsa of diced nectarines, peaches, plums, apricots, red onion and jalapeño peppers and whole fish (of the day) charred with bok choy, spicy ginger plum sauce and plantain pillows.
