THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Nieuport 17 Restaurant Review:

Heavily festooned with photos and artifacts culled from some of Orange County’s foremost aviation enthusiasts, Tustin’s Nieuport 17 is almost as much of a museum as it is a restaurant. The cuisine keeps in step with the ambience that the décor organically creates, as it serves up classic dishes that hearken back to a vintage era of dining. The restaurant offers several items that are becoming increasingly difficult to find in and around Orange County, such as wilted spinach salad, veal piccata and tournedos of beef. Desserts have a more modern flair, and the list is highlighted by a slice of indulgent fudge pie. The adjacent Barnstormer Bar affords a more contemporary gastropub-type vibe, complete with specialty cocktails, a solid selection of wines by the glass, bites and nightly entertainment.
