THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Occo Restaurant Review:

Occo is tucked away in Marylebone, designed on three levels with wood, stone, polished plaster and metal grids reminding you of North Africa. It's well done with furniture straight from Tangiers and Marrakesh. The different rooms evoke different moods. The menu is equally varied, spanning à la carte and tapas. Expect starters like chicken, almond and cinnamon briouat with green leaves and spicy date, chilli and ginger chutney; plus roast harissa and chilli-marinated lamb fillet with honey caramelised baby onions and quince. Puy lentils, sweet potato mash and roasted figs all make their appearance in the wide-ranging cooking. Tapas run from roasted almonds with salt and sweet paprika to mint and ginger lamb brochettes with tomato, red onion and radish, and cucumber and mint yoghurt. Service is charming. It's a venue well worth seeking out.
