THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Omonia Restaurant Review:
One of the few Greek restaurants in Boston, Omonia is a pretty room that hums just a bit but doesnt ever quite sizzle. Its location can mean its busy pre and even post-theater, but other than that, youll rarely encounter a wait. It handles all the traditional Greek dishes with competency, turning out a nice taramasalata, the fish roe and garlic puree, and stuffed grape leaves to start. The baked lamb is a giant shank, which we found can be either meltingly delicious or overcooked and dry. For dessert, we like nonyotico made with shredded pastry, walnuts, cinnamon and honey.
