Outback Steakhouse Restaurant Review:
Brazenly Australian on the outside, this popular steakhouse chain is American through and through. But the gimmick works---you will find boomerangs and other Aussie paraphernalia setting the scene for adequate steaks served in fairly generous portions. No meal is really complete here without the Bloomin’ Onion, an oil-drenched and trademarked appetizer that’s had many copycats. Steaks, of course, are the claim to fame, but the choice cuts aren’t always tender. If you want beef, pay extra for the prime or select one of the other dishes, including chicken, pork chops, and grilled baby back ribs. You’ll probably find a line at mealtimes, so if you want to eat and run, order ahead for the takeout service, available at most locations. Other locations.
