Pearl Restaurant Review:

The best sushi joints always seem to be found in the most unassuming of places, such as this one in a little strip mall. Pearl offers Japanese, Chinese and Thai cuisines, though it's the Japanese food that really hits the mark. The sushi may not impress sushi purists, but we do recommend the house rolls like the Green Dragon Roll (spicy tuna with avocado tempura) or the Freedom Roll (tuna, avocado and spicy crab). For those more in the mood for a hot dish, Pearl is known for its hibachi: several combinations of meat and seafood are available, made to order on tabletop griddles. Wash it all down with one of several saké options, or a large bottle of Japanese beer. This is a good location for a party or get-together, with a special deal on group hibachi from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
