THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Peter's Passion Restaurant Review:

Once the executive chef at the luxury Lansdowne Resort, Peter Pryor has ventured out on his own with an ambitious menu and an arty setting in tones of russet and persimmon. As charming as a lady’s tearoom, Peter’s Passion is really about complex cooking and skillful flavor combinations that should satisfy even the most jaded palates. His sensible pricing keeps his inventive dishes well within most people’s budget, and that’s all to the good, considering that lunch starters may include spicy chicken dumplings perched atop field greens. Lunch entrées are as fetching: a broiled crab cake served with fingerling potatoes or our favorite, the grilled chicken and eggplant sandwich with a sun-dried tomato pesto, and fingerling potatoes dressed up as a mini salad with a rosemary dressing. Dinners naturally are much more serious events and may star a risotto cake with grilled vegetables or filet mignon with goat cheese potato gratin. Desserts, presented on a pretty platter, look poetic and are made in-house. For both meals, Pryor offers a serious and comprehensive wine list with selections from California and France predominating.
