Endolyne Joe's Restaurant Review:

Nostalgically named for End-of-the-Line Joe, the conductor of a long-defunct trolley line that once had its turnaround here, Endolyne Joe's offers a menu proving that going to the end of the line is worth the trip. Located near West Seattle's Fauntleroy ferry terminal, it's virtually the only eatery in the neighborhood. The classic comfort food menu supplements a rotating selection of more complex American dishes. For starters, Big “O” Onion Rings are large and crisp. The black bean and corn fritters come topped with an onion relish and cilantro lime crema. A salad standout features crisp calamari tossed with curried cider vinaigrette-dressed slaw. Raviolis may be paired with asparagus and tomatoes. Late-to-start breakfast eaters go for the “Not So Early Bird Special,” which is served from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. Nothing is seriously gourmet, but the dishes appeal to all ages and are reasonably priced. A full bar means Bloody Marys and more are always available.
