Hungry's massive beer and wine list nearly eclipses its food. Yet even this international repertoire of spirits runs a distant second to the atmosphere provided by the restaurant's picturesque enclosed patio. You can't go wrong with Southwestern items such as the Anaheim grilled chicken breast plated with roasted chile sauce, herbed rice and sautéed vegetables. Heart-healthy gyro lovers can try the chicken version of this standard. As for sandwiches --- from deli to burgers to hoagies --- this place stacks them high. There are such polar opposites as the California hoagie with avocado, cheese, mushrooms and sprouts and the Philly steak hoagie loaded with grilled rib-eye slices smothered with onions, peppers and melted provolone. Hungry’s is also known for the weekend brunches featuring omelets, steak and eggs and migas platters.
