Pier 6 Restaurant Review: About the restaurant: Dine indoors or on the outdoor deck at this three-floor dockside gastropub on Pier 6 at the edge of the Charlestown Navy Yard. The space encompasses a roof deck, outdoor patio and bar, plus interior dining room with floor-to-ceiling glass sliding doors, bar and private dining room.
Food & Drinks: Start with a baked crab cake or some sweet ’n’ sticky wings before diving into a lobster roll. Other entrées include pan-seared scallops with sweet corn risotto, heirloom tomatoes, frisée, black truffle vinaigrette, and chicken “under a brick” with potato purée, asparagus and thyme jus. House-made desserts range from apple cobbler with a cinnamon crust with honey gelato to a chocolate chip cookie ice cream sandwich. Sip wine, local drafts and tropical cocktails, including shareable drinks for up to four people. Brunch brings crab cake eggs Benedict and banana rum french toast. |
