About the restaurant & décor: The team behind RPM Restaurants (RPM Italian, RPM Steak) brought a scene-stealing restaurant to Chicago's riverfront. And boy, come summer, it's one smashing place to people watch. If you're lucky enough to snag a patio table, you'll be entertained by the boats cruising by. Indoors is just as cheerful with the doors swung open, a color palette of lemon and white, and a low-hung ceiling that create nautical, endless summertime appeal.

Food & Drinks: Pizzeria Portofino serves hand-stretched pizzas, vegetable antipasti and artisan pastas. The tomato caprese and white tuna bruschetta are worthy light fare.
