This faux-rustic grill on the Back Bay-South End boundary also straddles a culinary border between Tex-Mex and Southwestern fare. Margarita-sipping yuppies chow down on the likes of sweet potato-smoked jalapeño bisque and Monterey Jack-filled ravioli with cilantro-pumpkin seed pesto; their beer-drinking counterparts stick with nachos, taquitos and burritos. Either way, the eats are hit-or-miss, often blander in execution than their appealing descriptions would suggest. Still, the huge menu also contains surprises like the marinated steak tip salad with both green and pinto beans as well as avocado-tomatillo salsa---both healthier and heartier than you might expect.
