THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED The Restaurant at Sonoma Mission Inn Restaurant Review:
Toni Robertson has breathed new life into the grill at this venerable spa, where many dishes carry a list of their calorie, cholesterol and fat content. Robertson offers a seductive bar menu that includes a selection of tandoori flatbreads, dim sum and California hand rolls. Tempting entrées include the Dijon-marinated rack of lamb served with an Asiago and herb risotto and lamb jus. A grilled duck breast is napped with a tart cherry vinaigrette, and tender ostrich is paired with fingerling potatoes, artichokes and corn. Lunch at the Grille, at a table overlooking the pool on a sunny day, can be a treat. The wine list is deep in California wines, with a special emphasis on Sonoma County.
