A sure crowd-pleaser, the Rio Grande seems to delight patrons of all ages with its lusty fare and lively atmosphere: It’s one of the few local places where high decibel levels really don’t distract. As expected, weekend nights are jam-packed. But gratis chips-and-dip combos are usually served before the rounds of enchiladas, tacos, sizzling fajitas, chiles rellenos and even broiled quail emerge with baskets of freshly baked tortillas from the kitchen.
