Is this a bar? Sports pub? Twentysomething’s hangout? Gaming room? Family restaurant? TV gallery? For a single destination, Rockafella’s has multiple personalities, and perhaps where you sit determines the kind of experience you have. Considering that the restaurant has probably 15 large-screen TVs plus enough bar space for a football team or college dorm determines that most people come here for the casual fun, not necessarily for the casual food. And casual it is, from wings and pasta dishes to sliders and assorted burger varieties. Why not zero in on the chipotle bacon barbecue burger with cheddar, dripping in barbecue sauce? Or the black and blue burger with blue cheese and bacon? To the kitchen’s credit, someone back there makes homemade potato chips, hot and crunchy. The bar offers plenty of choices, from draft beers to cocktails.
