Rooster Restaurant Review

: Rooster is a wake-up call for the senses. First and foremost, there are the flavors --- savory breakfast crêpes bursting with eggs, sausages, smoked meats, cheeses or vegetables, and sweet crêpes with fruits or chocolate. But there’s also the sound and feel of a bustling downtown café, filled with the aromas of brewing coffee and crêpes fresh off the griddle. Enjoy them while indulging in a themed Bloody Mary (the house version alone has 17 ingredients), a mimosa or a local craft beer. For those not inclined toward crêpes, breakfast and brunch choices range from a Finnish custard pancake to biscuits and gravy (meat or vegetarian). Don’t miss the 72 percent dark hot chocolate, imported from Rooster’s sister restaurant, Baileys’ Chocolate Bar. Breakfast is available for lunch as well, or you can go the route of salads, sandwiches and wraps. The grilled cheese with roasted tomatoes and bacon jam is particularly hard to resist.
