THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Rue Lafayette Restaurant Review:
It’s possible to swing by Rue Lafayette and grab a quiche and coffee on the way to work, but every morning a good number of customers find a reason to linger. They read the paper, chat with friends, hold business meetings, browse the boutique and offer their children a bite of what may well be some the best pastries of their young lives. For lunch, we recommend the quiche (again), preferably a simple combination like spinach and goat cheese. But salads, sandwiches and wraps also are available. The coffees and teas are unique (to the point where they sometimes require a bit of explanation from the staff), but the hot chocolate needs no introduction. Enjoy it with a shot of espresso and a splash of spirits.
