THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Sabang Restaurant Review:
THIS ESTABLISHMENT IS CLOSED One of the very few Indonesian restaurants in the metro area, Sabang is a destination for those who appreciate this rather spectacularly hot Southeast Asian cuisine. We head here for the rendang, a very rich and spicy beef dish with a coconut milk base and for the lighter and rather sweet gado-gado, the famous Indonesian salad composed of cooked vegetables and dressed with peanut sauce. We also adore the es chendol, a chilled and sweet coconut milk-based drink speckled with pressings of rice flour. Some careful decoration has gone on to dress up the interior with plenty of woodcarvings, parasols and tropical wood furniture.
