The Savoy Restaurant Review:
Take a Savoy afternoon tea in the Thames Foyer with its central garden gazebo and pianist. Despite the huge restoration, it remains fundamentally a great traditional treat. All the usual classics are there, and it’s very well done. For weekends, book six months in advance, for weekdays a mere six weeks. Traditional afternoon tea £65 per person; with a glass of Louis Roederer Brut Premier, NV £75; with a glass of Deutz Rosé, NV £85. Traditional high tea £70; with a glass of Louis Roederer Brut Premier, NV £80; with a glass of Deutz Rosé, NV £90.
