Sushi Rock Restaurant Review

: A stone’s throw from the busy Beachwood Mall and Legacy Village shopping centers, Sushi Rock --- with its sleek atmosphere, dim lights and contemporary food --- is the place to see and be seen. Illuminated, wall-size cityscapes, a central sushi bar and black-clad servers set the tone for this hip eastside haunt. The menu is loaded with options for both land and sea lovers. Start with either the Sushi Rock shrimp or the lamb chops dressed with lemon-oregano vinaigrette. Eel, tempura and Philly rolls are all equally tasty, if not a little expected. The Big Rock rolls are a sight to behold, presented as rolls and towers, stacks and curves, mounds and clusters. Our favorite is the Pretty Woman: smoked salmon, avocado, cucumber, cream cheese and kiwi. Not in the mood for sushi? Try the thyme chicken or the lobster mac ‘n’ cheese. For dessert, the green tea ice cream is a fine choice. The bar is always packed on weekends; whenever you visit, though, bartenders churn out a wide array of trendy libations.
