THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Tejas Restaurant Review:

A change of ownership at what's still not a Tex-Mex restaurant has left the made-to-order margaritas and the tabletop campfire for s'mores, as well as the mural in the bar. And the menu? Chips and salsa are about the last thing that's familiar, and even the salsas have been rethought. While diners ponder duck-and-mango tamales, pulled pork empanadas and a killer black bean soup, the really smart ones are also sipping the best margaritas in town and watching to see what's coming out of the open kitchen. There's still a deft hand with meat in killer pork chops (aka rack of pork), the tri-tip roast, duck breast or beef cheeks. The cowboy dessert can bring a tabletop mini-cooker to toast marshmallows for s'mores, and despite the mural in the bar (painted by a staffer), service at the self-proclaimed "cowboy heaven" is much too smooth to ever greet customers with "Howdy!"
