We have a feeling that this particular piece of restaurant property is jinxed: The fourth Thai restaurant in as many years is trying to make a go here, but this maxim holds true in the restaurant business: location, location, location. Off the main thoroughfare and down a flight of stairs, this little eatery does not beam onto most people's radar. More than that, its new menu and restyled décor won't touch many hearts. One or two incarnations ago, the earlier owners chose to present a thoroughly Thai menu with dishes that ordinarily do not make it to the Western audience. The cooking was superlative, but even that did not survive. This new iteration does not really keep to the Thai theme, despite such standards as pad thai and Drunken Noodles making it to the menu. Crave dazzling Thai eats? Look elsewhere.
